Nexus Youth & Family Services has been consulting with County departments, community partners, and others to develop a response plan to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our priority is to continue to provide services safely for our clients, staff and community. In order to limit in-person contact, until further notice the Nexus main offices in Jackson as well as the Upcountry
Community Center, Camanche Lake Community Center, and Ione Family Resource Center facilities will be closed to the public however staff will continue to provide essential programs and services for the community.

We encourage everyone in the community to follow the health and safety guidelines provided by Amador County Public Health and practice positive mental health strategies during this challenging time. Remember, we are all in this together and we will get through it.

Food distributions will continue to be provided at the Upcountry Community Center, the Camanche Lake Community Center, and in River Pines. These will be drive-through distribution events.
Family, Youth &
Essential family, youth and therapeutic services will continue to be provided by agency staff utilizing phone, video conferencing, and telemedicine software. In addition, we will be able to deliver some resources to clients at home. All
services will be provided following the guidelines provided by Amador County
ACUSD Meals and Distance Learning
Amador County Public Schools will shift to distance learning effective Monday, March 23 until further notice. It is important to note that school is not closed, we are just delivering it in a different way. Thank you for your ongoing patience as we navigate these unprecedented times.
